Santiago de BreixaSan Martiño de Fiestras is an ancient parish as evidenced by the name of its owner or its villages, Aragonza and Recimil.
The church itself can be reached by an elegant staircase with stone cross, inspired by the Compostela baroque. In the rest of the construction, the entire ensemble, especially the apse, evoke a primitive and beautiful Romanesque structure, characterized by some corbels, circular metopes clearly influenced by the Romanesque, window header, rectangular apse and Agnus Dei.
Some of its features suggest a previous construction of Visigothic influences.The interior features an arcosolium with recumbent statue, which may be the tomb of an abbot of the parish.
